After 26 long hours at the hospital and very little progression, Court had a c-section. She was so wiped out, but seemed to be in good spirits as they got her ready to go. Probably relieved to be done as much as anything!
As Dr Hanson put it, her epidural "pooped out" at the end, so she felt way too much of a c-section and they kept knocking her out to help her avoid the post-op pain. Then her airway kept closing, so they had to put a short tube in briefly to help her breathe. By 11:30 she was back in her room and doing better. She was still in a LOT of pain and couldn't keep her eyes open, but she was a trooper! Jake was a great support and right by her side the entire time. Such a proud papa!
We are so excited for the newest member of our family! I will get more pictures today, so check back later.

C- thanks for posting about it. I got her text last night, way way late and knew something had to be up because it had been over 24 hours since she went in. I am glad all is well.
