Any opinions on Panguitch?

So, what do you think about Panguitch? It is 242 miles from where I live, 145 from Moroni, 30 miles from I-15, 60 miles from Richfield (I think there's a WalMart there), 68 miles from Cedar City, 118 from St.George (that's a bonus!)...

Just taking a poll. Would anyone come see us if we moved there? I hear it's the gateway to scenic Utah! Ü

Isn't that where the Chums factory is/was? That is a major tourist attraction, so I don't see why anyone wouldn't come see you there :)
What's in Panguitch that makes you want to move there? It is very close to St. George and as often as people travel down there, I don't think you'd have any trouble getting visitors. You'd probably have more visitors than we do out here!

We would come see you, so make sure you have a guest room! It could also be a great place to store the boat for trips to Powell or Mead or anywhere warmer than the lakes up here.

You'd have to promise to come visit up here too though. Maybe family dinners once a month or something?

I think the Chums factory was in Hurricane, but same general area.

There is a regional planner job that Tim is thinking of applying for. We would love to raise our family in a smaller, safer place! We love our neighbors and friends here, but no one stays in this area very long. We've had quite a few friends move in the last few months. Time for some place more stable!

We would definitely have room for visitors and we would come up for visits, too!

I forgot to update this part. A few days after we found the job opening in Panguitch, Tim got a promotionat his current employment and they made it worth his while to stay where he is. They are evening going to pay for him to get his Master's Degree, too! We feel very blessed for that opportunity & we are going to stay put for now!
