Is cream cheese actaully a dairy product? I thought it was all guar gum and goo!!!!

I do love my sweets but when I need real comfort food I turn to the savory things- specifically chips and nacho cheese or dips.
Any baked goods from homemade bread/rolls to brownies, cookies, cheesecake will comfort me!!:)
BTW I am a HUGE fan of cream cheese. I belive it can make almost anything better!! Looks like a cookbook I would really love to have!

I have decided that cream cheese is a guilty pleasure food! Let's see I have a few comfort food but my most recent one is Black Pepper Kettle Cooked Lays Chips. Yum. But if I have time to make my comfort food it is either cream cheese stuffed strawberries or sugar cookies! Yum.
And btw I have been following your blog forever so does that count?

Good comfort food--oatmeal. Bad comfort food--chocolate chips. I need to stick with the oatmeal for my waistline.
Hard to choose one comfort food.......but I love guacamole and nachos.....they can always make you feel good......

I love your Lego cake post. My oldest guys is turning 7 this month and I would love to do a lego theme for him as he LOVES the stuff!!!
My favorite comfort food is mashed potatoes. LOVE THEM! They remind me of my Grandma and I think of her each time I have them. What's more comforting than memories!?

Oh, and my favorite comfort food would probably be pizza with a Pepsi on the side!
I have too many comfort foods to list... maybe that's part of my problem :) I do love anything with chocolate, and especially really rich hot chocolate (like using milk and three times the amount of mix you're supposed to and then adding peppermint icecream rich...)

Some of my favorite posts were those telling about your ordeal with Eliza's birth-- my mom had a similar experience when she had me and your words made me understand what she must have been dealing with so much better! And I'm really glad both stories didn't end there :)
